Job Description
The Material & ERP Specialist provides effective support to California Closets manufacturing locations by completing inspections of incoming shipments of material and completing transitions in the company’s ERP system (Epicor). This role will support multiple functions within California Closets Fulfillment, including production, quality, shipping & receiving, inventory, and material planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports the Fulfillment team by completing administrative tasks within the ERP software (Epicor) daily including but not limited to: issuing jobs, completing operations, issuing material, closing jobs, preparing for shipment, and other Epicor related transactions.

Preforms quality inspections of incoming material, report discrepancies, makes inventory adjustments and transfers accordingly in system per quality instructions.

Receives & processes incoming material per work instructions utilizing software applications.

Notifies and communicates with purchasing team of any discrepancies/changes/shortages of incoming material.

Utilize the Microsoft office suite such word processing and spreadsheet applications to prepare reports and other deliverables.

Responsible for the departments file management, archiving, and monthly file clean up.

Process POR’s (purchase order requisitions) and submit PO’s (purchase orders) to suppliers, follow up with them on delivery of goods, communicate internally with other departments status of orders, receipts, and invoices.
Qualifications

Previous quality inspection experience is a preferred

Understanding of Epicore or similar ERP systems and best practices is preferred

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer-based software

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel, often reach with hand and arms and grasp, and be able to constantly stand.
