Assistant General Manager at North Shore Towers and Country Club:
Anticipate needs and wants of the Club Manager by being prepared and organized while acting with a sense of urgency. Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational and project management skills. Must have superior interpersonal and computer skills as well as excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.

HOURS: Full-time position. Sunday – Thursday with flexibility as necessary for evenings or Saturday as well as holidays.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience as Administrative Assistant. Two to three years of club or hospitality industry experience preferred. Must have fitness instructor certification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides administrative support to Club Manager, department heads, club associations
* Anticipate the needs of the Club Manager in order to prioritize tasks to ensure daily tasks, meetings and events are conducted in a highly professional manner.
* Create club event marketing and promotional materials.
* Updating website content and managing clubs email marketing system and member roster
* Coordinate communication from club committees.
* Coordinate all activities and details relating to internal and external meetings; including reserving meeting rooms, inviting attendees, meeting materials, post meeting follow up items, etc.
* Assist with general office needs of members and visitors.
* Assist with Receptionist duties; greeting Association guests and receiving incoming phone calls, signing up members
* Walk through the club to ascertain any repairs or inventory is in need of addressing or ordering
* Bookkeeping tasks include submit check request for associations and vendors; submit refund/cancellation requests from members; provide backup documents for controllers, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of Mind and Body member management program a plus.
* Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to multi-task and take direction
* Reliable transportation
* Must be change adaptive, flexible, and empathetic
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Must be highly customer oriented and responsive
* Demonstrated initiative – ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
