POSITION:
The BCBA will implement ABA programs, supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and train parents and caregivers while promoting a superior commitment to high levels of implementation fidelity.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Conducts and summarizes functional assessment of challenging behavior
- Designs, implements, and evaluates behavior support plans and master treatment plans
- Develops and implements data collection systems for both acquisition and deceleration target behaviors
- Conducts direct sessions with all clients on caseload to evaluate all behavior change procedures
- Conducts training of primary therapists, secondary therapists, parents, and other caregivers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- Must be or eligible for a License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA)
- A history of work with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or families is essential. Specific training/experience in developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred.
- A history of supervising the work of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other professionals who implement behavior-analytic interventions is preferred.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position, to include lifting of clients, packages, or equipment, and accessing the premises.
- Should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team approach to develop and implement client treatment plans.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to maintain records, prepare reports and reliably develop timely correspondence related to work.
