Virtual School Psychologist in Texas
Were on the lookout for a caring and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. Youll be helping support the mental health and educational growth of our students, providing the psychological services they need to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving classroom management and promoting positive behaviors.
- Facilitate communication between the school, parents, and external mental health professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as child development, behavior management, and mental health awareness.
- Keep accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Stay current with research and best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Education Specialist degree in School Psychologyfrom an accredited institution.
- Active License through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists- Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
- Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
