Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:

Welcome guests into the restaurant by holding the door open and / or verbally with a genuinely friendly “Welcome to Kaluz.”

Provide accurate wait times and monitor wait lists.

Make and manage reservations within the appropriate availability, party size, and time slot.

Escort guests to assigned dining, patio, bar, or lounge areas.

Provide menus any other necessary items for guest use and inform the guest of their server’s name (if known).

Bid farewell to departing guests (holding door as available).

Coordinate and communicate with service team about any reservations requiring special attention or needs (celebrations, etc.).

Maintain a clean lobby and reception area.

Acknowledge and cater to any guests that need extra attention (wheelchairs, children, elderly, etc.).

Answer phones in a timely fashion and address guest questions as they occur.

Follow up on timely and consistent bathroom checks (insuring cleanliness, items stocked and replenished as needed, spot sweeping, etc.)

Assist waitstaff as needed with maintaining a clean dining room, bussing tables, sweeping floors, etc.
-
Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
