Online School-Based Speech Language Pathologist
Looking for an SLP licensed (or willing to get licensed) in the state of Oregon
Community Therapy Services has multiple openings for full-time or part-time online school-based (K-12) Oregon licensed speech language pathologist to join our growing telehealth team. Leadership opportunities are available as well.
At Community Therapy Services, we have an amazing team of therapists that excel at providing outstanding telehealth support to students, families, and the schools we serve. We have served thousands of students with special needs since 2009 in online education settings in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Oregon SLP License
- Two years (preferred) of experience in the K-12 school setting as a speech language pathologist (special consideration will be given to those with experience working in online settings with students)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Assess communication skills including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language
- Determine program eligibility and develop recommendations for treatment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues in an effort to support students with special needs
- Develop treatment plans, interventions and/or educational materials to support individuals with communication disorders
- Maintain files and records such as progress reports, billing information, treatment plans, screening results, and other required documentation
- Participate in meetings (e.g. training, IEPs, team meetings) as requested
- Provides speech and language therapy to students to maximize success in education for those with speech and language disorders
