Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s or other advanced degree preferred.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification desired
- Five plus years of manufacturing management experience including 3+ years of lean and continuous improvement experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Oversees all daily operations of plant production, ensuring maximum capacity within financial controls.
- Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, developing processes for safety, quality, productivity, and stewardship.
- Provides oversight to plant functions such as accounting, maintenance, distribution, and administration, planning efficient use of materials, machinery, and workforce.
- Reviews production costs and quality, adjusts control programs for profitability, and recommends budgets, capital spending, and staffing to management.
- Directs manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with QHSE and customer requirements, promoting a culture of cost control and productivity based on key performance indicators.
- Assumes responsibility for site maintenance, equipment procurement, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Actively participates in production planning aligned with management objectives and budgets.
