Summary
A PASCOR Product Development Engineering team member interfaces with our Production Engineers, Production Planning and Manufacturing departments, along with our sales representatives, power utility companies, and sub-contractors. They are required to have extensive knowledge of our products’ parts and functions in order to accurately recommend products that fit the customers’ needs along with the ability to design new parts or products to meet specific customer needs or challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ability to determine viability of a project by considering technical and planning needs, production schedule, along with legal and economic factors
· Review equipment and structural specifications along with performance requirements to determine which product should be utilized to meet the customers’ needs
· Provide technical information regarding design, manufacturing, and materials of PASCOR products
· Collaborate with the production engineering and planning departments to get required drawings and specifications for jobs in order to release them for production.
· Strengthen relationships with existing customers and form connections with new clients
· Ability to participate in product formation and development, assist in pre-sales technical support, attend trade shows and conferences
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical and technical specifications, financial reports, legal contracts, and design test documents
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, sales representatives, regulatory agencies, or other members of the business/power utility community
· Ability to effectively present information to members of the management and administrative teams
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
· Write, type, or enter information into a computer to prepare correspondence, documents, copying information from one record to another, etc.
· Sort and file records
· Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
· Constantly update job knowledge
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Desired Qualification
· Graduate or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering;
· PE License highly preferred
· Proven work experience in engineering, and customer/supplier relations
· Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs, Design software (CAD) and MRP software (Made to Manage)
· Well organized with an attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
