About the Position:
Under the general direction of the Government and Community Affairs Manager, a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst, serves as the Community Affairs Liaison and Equity Analyst. The incumbent acts as the District's central point of contact and is responsible for leading the District in supporting and advancing Caltrans' Equity Program. The incumbent collaborates with community-based & non-governmental organizations (CBO/NGOs) and provides guidance to the District, with particular focus on communication, education, and training, analysis and reform, and community engagement informing plans, programs, and projects. Incumbent develops and strengthens internal and external partnerships and fosters collaborative approaches to creating, implementing, and achieving equity goals. Incumbent works cross-functionally to perform highly responsible, complex, professional, administrative, and technical work, as well as identify and analyze issues related to equity processes.
