We are looking for a mechanic experienced in engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and fuel systems and/or charging systems. The mechanic will work at client locations troubleshooting and repairing materials handling equipment including Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Scissor Lifts and other related machines. This is a great opportunity for a machanic who loves hands on work, problem solving and working with customers. You will be on the road visiting sites to make repairs to enginess, transmissions, hydraulic and other systems. Truck and equipment is supplied for you. Great, stable company where people stay. Duties:
- Perform inspections and diagnostic tests to identify engine, transmissions, hydraulic, breaking and other system malfunctions
- Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours
Experience:
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or repairing materials handling equipment
- Knowledge and understand of how engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and fuel systems and/or charging systems work and how they work together
- Familiarity with industrial equipment repair and maintenance
- Good computer skills
- Good customer service skills and ability to work well with people.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $28.00 - $32.72 per hour
