We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with excellent analytical skills,
Duties:
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employees
- Manage accounts payable process, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in payroll processing and understanding of payroll tax regulations
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices
- Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
- Knowledge of GAAP and ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with DMSI Software system is strongly preferred.
