Currently, we are looking for an Software Engineer to join our team.
Job description
- Analyze, design, and develop enterprise-wide TDM, TDF, and ILM strategies and solutions using IBM Infosphere Optim, IBM TDF, IBM Information Analyzer, Incorta, DB2, Oracle, Hadoop, iSeries, Netezza, Flat files, MS SQL Server, batch script, shell script, PowerShell script, LUA Script, and SQL/PLSQL.
- Install, set up, configure, and support IBM Optim products for custom and enterprise applications across various data sources, including IBM DB2, Oracle, Hadoop, iSeries, Netezza, Flat files, and MS SQL Server.
- Gather requirements, design and develop data models for sensitive fields, and create custom solutions for data archiving, data privacy, and test data fabrication.
- Perform Optim archival/extraction of data, mask sensitive data, and load it to non-production databases.
- Educate customers on ILM products, conduct workshops on TDM, TDF, and ILM, and provide post-implementation support.
- Define policies and practices to ensure the highest level of technical support, and resolve ILM tool-related issues.
- Develop architectural and implementation approaches, access definitions, and service requests.
- Conduct test data generation using IBM Infosphere TDF, recommend and accelerate hardware and solution readiness.
- Travel up to 10% of the time to unanticipated work locations within the USA to resolve customer issues with SMEs.
Skills and Requirements
- Require a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- Require 5 years of experience in roles such as software developer, project/technical lead, systems/programmer engineer/analyst, consultant, or a related field.
