HR ONBOARDING SPECIALIST
The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for overseeing the human resources database and computer system. The Onboarding (New Hires) Specialists ensures employee files are accurate and databases are up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related field or five or more years of related experience.
- Proven work experience in Human Resources and/or HR Information Systems
- Knowledge of human resources principles
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Excellence in communication skills, written and verbal, with demonstrated attention to detail and confidentiality
Duties and Responsibilities include the supervision and facilitating of the following:
1. Set up and maintain the recruiting software in Paylocity that is used to post position internally/externally and send offer letters to perspective employees
2. Set up and maintain all Paylocity Onboarding Task and Events to fit State Compliance as well as EES employment requirements.
3. Set up and maintain the Paylocity Selfservice Portal and perform updates as needed to be viewed and accessible to all staff
4. Set up beginning of year Events to be completed online for all staff to complete yearly
5. Create and launch special employee events through Paylocity
6. Create and send all Offer Letters thru Paylocity for both current and new hire’s
7. Launch and complete New Hire onboarding via Paylocity for all applicable staff & contractual staff
8. Communicate and assist the District Support Coordinator with the employee Onboarding completion
9. Answer all onboarding questions
10. Communicate all New Hire’s to payroll department
11. Submit New Hire Packet to HR department
12. Utilize the HR system to ensure all employee records are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential
13. Responsible for set up and issuing Sole Paycards for employees that do not have a bank account for direct deposit
14. Monitor and maintain Sole Paycard database
15. Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
16. Maintain employee files and records in both electronic and paper form
17. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
18. Performs other related duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer or designee
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
