Links Global based in Rockville, MD is recruiting for a part-time media and public relations specialist to support a variety of client communication needs. One project in particular is to support a client with building an alumni engagement program.
Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate working groups and advisory groups

Conduct interviews of field experts to support plan development

Conduct public relations

Write and edit strategy, communication plans, media releases, articles, and other information

Coordinate activities and events

Provide training

Develop information materials

Develop digital media and social media for marketing and promotion purposes

Manage several staff
Required qualifications
-
B.S. in communication or related field
-
10+ years of experience working relevant duties

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Excellent group facilitation skills

Excellent writing and presentation skills

Experience in developing communication materials
-
Organized and able to use a variety of business software such as MS Office

Self-motivated and also team player abilities

Ability to pass government suitability background check
