CLINICAL PATHOLOGY ASSOCIATES
In this role, you will serve as a hands-on desktop support specialist and play a crucial role in providing technical support to our physicians and employees. This position requires a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, hardware, software applications, and network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work both independently and with internal IT Support Team.

FLSA STATUS: Exempt TYPE OF POSITION: Full Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide direct and remote support for desktop and laptop issues, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to desktop environments.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
- Perform system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Contribute to IT projects as needed, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a desktop support role, with at least 1 year at a Level II capacity.
- Proficiency in Windows environment.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, software applications, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Availability for occasional after-hours support and on-call rotations.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
