A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Assistant is a trained healthcare professional that is responsible for providing direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nurses or healthcare providers. They play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to patients. CNAs contribute to the well-being of clients by assisting clients with activities of daily living, promoting independence, and maintaining their overall well-being.
1. **Personal Care:** Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
2. **Mobility Support:** Help clients with mobility, including transferring from beds to chairs, and providing assistance with walking or using mobility aids.
3. **Nutritional Support:** Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.
4. **Vital Signs Monitoring:** Record and report vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration.
5. **Medication Assistance:** Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and monitor for any side effects.
6. **Companionship:** Provide emotional support, converse, and participate in recreational activities with clients.
7. **Household Tasks:** Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client.
8. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including any changes in the client's condition.
9. **Communication:** Collaborate with healthcare team members, including nurses, therapists, and family members, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
10. **Observation and Reporting:** Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
11. **Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):** Help clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
