Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues to ensure the safety and functionality of vehicles. Responsibilities: - Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs - Perform auto body repairs and restorations as needed - Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs - Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repairs - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
