We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create menus
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and mentor kitchen employees
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items
Experience:
- Proven experience in food preparation and culinary arts
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food service management and kitchen operations
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
