Job Description
As a Court Construction Laborer, you will perform installation and repair of sports surfaces and equipment both indoors and outdoors. Our work includes application of coatings and sports surfaces both indoors and outdoors. We construct athletic courts from the ground up and need all skill sets required to complete commercial construction.
Responsibilities
- Installing and repairing sports surfaces and equipment.
- Constructing outdoor game courts for tennis and pickleball.
- Execute installation and delivery of sports related projects.
- Utilize hand and power tools such as squeegees, measuring tape, power drills, floor grinders/sanders, and pressure washers.
- Maintain a safe and clean worksite.
- Apply acrylic coatings for tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts.
- Install tennis and pickleball nets.
- Paint game lines on tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts.
Qualifications
- Proficient with hand and power tools and equipment.
- Power washing experience is not required but a plus.
- Experience working on tennis courts by painting and resurfacing them.
- Experience in concrete forming, shot blasting, and sealcoating.
- Experience in construction (concrete finishing or squeegeeing a plus).
- Must be willing to work outside and lift heavy equipment and work long hours in the heat.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs without any reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must be a dependable, flexible, and a reliable team player and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, and able and willing to travel to off-site events, etc., as needed.
- Detail-oriented.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test.
Preferably would reside in the Dallas, TX area.
We are a sports facility construction company looking for full and part time general laborers. Job duties may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment. Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must be able to work outside in all kinds of weather. Must have the flexibility to travel out of state.
