Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical player in the build-out of the Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate has an appreciation of the tools and practices necessary to be an effective program manager. This individual will leverage their comprehension of system-wide applications and processes to construct a suite of methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and excellence for program execution. In collaboration with program and portfolio management, they will be responsible for providing consolidated program information drive decision-making for diverse business applications.
Overall, the Sr Manager, PMO will have a significant impact on building out the necessary infrastructure to achieve our ambitious organizational growth needs. This person not only cares about the outcomes but also about how we get there. The successful candidate will draw upon their experience to:
Work closely with PMs and functional team members to generate harmonized program management templates for project plans and visualizations.
Drive adoption of project management software, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into project status, risks, and financials.
Partner with Program, Portfolio and Alliance management to maximize capacity to address urgent or complex needs.
Produce performance monitoring framework, defining relevant metrics and implementing effective reporting mechanisms to track performance of individual projects and across portfolio.
Leverage knowledge of relevant enterprise solutions to stream-line processes to increase capacity necessary to support growth.
Generate comprehensive on-boarding tools and information sources to enable new hires to get up to speed quickly.
As needed facilitate cross-functional sub-team meetings to ensure continuity of data flow to support program deliverables.
Cultivate culture of excellence and elevating project management competencies across organization via learning and best practice forums to enhance skills and capabilities of project management teams.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other related scientific discipline). MSc or MBA is a plus.
>5 years of experience in a relevant pharmaceutical industry project management role; understanding of Clinical Development and Commercial activities is a plus.
Possess a sense of curiosity, passion, and a willingness to dive in to get the job done quickly and effectively.
Must be a self-starter and able to function independently in a fluid environment under tight timelines.
Innovative, proactive, and collaborative team-player with high energy to keep pace with our growing and evolving company environment.
A proven history of being able to influence and rally diverse stakeholders using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced capability with MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project), collaboration platforms (Smartsheet, Teams), workflow applications and visualization tools (Visio, LucidCharts, mindmaps).
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
The expected salary range for this role is $135,000 to $175,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
