Motio is one of the major players in developing and selling DevOps solutions for analytic platforms. Motio is expanding its product line to include software for Power BI. Because of the success and growth of the company we are looking for a Sales Manager.
Job Description:
The Sales Manager is a sales position where you run your own sales cycles and close deals while at the same time building a team with two additional jr. sales reps that will, in time, sell independently. You are in charge and accountable for the success of this sales channel. You will be responsible for identifying and contacting prospects, creating and having you and your team turn inquiries into qualified sales leads. You love calling and talking with customers to solve their problems and deliver value by selling Motio’s products for Power BI.
Although the Motio Marketing team delivers a high number of warm leads, you are always exploring and developing leads by cold calling, up- and cross selling and following up on existing contacts.
Major Responsibilities/Activities

Make a yearly sales plan to grow the channel sales

Build a sales team based on the growth of sales and potential of the market

Set group and individual targets, forecast sales

Take the lead and execute sales

Researching the target market and finding companies to target.

Cold calling potential customers and selling Motio’s products.

Schedules meetings with potential customers and closing sales.

Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.

Working to hit quarterly and monthly sales and revenue targets

Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s

Ensure all required data for sales is entered into the CRM system.

Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers.

Following up with past customers and cross selling products.

Following up on leads generated by other departments.

Responds to inquiries via live chat, email, incoming and outbound calls.
Background of the Motio Sales Manager

Previous experience in a sales management role for another company.

Self-motivated and organized individual.

Track record of achieving KPI’s and targets.

Outgoing personality with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Required)
-
Software sales experience at a Business Intelligence software vendor (Required)

5 or more year’s sales-related experience (Required)

Experience with Analytics and DevOps (Preferred)

Experience with high-volume prospecting through email marketing and cold calling

Enthusiasm for and familiarity with Business Intelligence & Analytics

Great verbal and written communication skills

Able to manage a sales team of 2 - 4 people
