Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides a high level of administrative support and will also provide project management services to the Vice President of Finance. This includes planning, research, organizing, managing, coordinating, and executing activities related to assigned projects to ensure reliable and efficient achievement of project goals for Lancaster Bible College. This role requires a level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality consistent with the stature of a position supporting the College's chief financial officer.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar environment.

- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Ability to learn computer programs related to the responsibilities in the area of Finance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide executive-level support to the Vice President of Finance in whatever is necessary to carry out his responsibilities, meet his daily agenda, and attain short and long-term goals by exercising good judgment and knowledge of his priorities and preferences.

Place and receive phone calls for the Vice President of Finance, using judgment to direct calls appropriately.
- Assist in managing the Vice President of Finance’s email account.

Manage the Vice President of Finance’s calendar, including arranging appointments and committee meetings.

Receive the Vice President of Finance’s daily mail and sort and process it appropriately.

Organize and maintain files for the Vice President of Finance.

Understand the work of electronic file storage and retrieval of financial information.

Assist the Vice President of Finance as required with other general accounting, budgeting, and audit procedures.

Assist the Vice President of Finance as required with completing and submitting surveys including but not limited to: ABACC, IPEDS, NACUBO, NASM, CRIZ, PCORI.

Promote a positive LBC | Capital reputation through professional and wise communications and relationships with external organizations, businesses, and vendors.

Attend meetings, as requested, with the Vice President of Finance to take minutes and distribute the same.

Work with all College personnel effectively, objectively, and communicatively.

Provide guidance and support to the VPF direct reports when needed and during special assignments to ensure that institutional deadlines are met.

Provide project administration, including planning, research, organizing, managing, coordinating, and executing activities related to ensure reliable and efficient achievement of project goals.

Assist in other duties whenever called upon as needed for the good and welfare of the mission of LBC | Capital.
