Learn to program and operate Mazak vertical machining centers. Setting up and operating Manual Mills and Lathes. Experience with G code is a plus.
Job Purpose:
Produces machined parts setting up, and operation manual or computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Manufacturers metal products by completing production plan.
Duties:
* Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials specifications; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
* Completes production requirements by expediting work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems.
* Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
