Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of our data pipelines and analytics platforms. Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Develop and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval
- Implement data quality and validation measures to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure support
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to enhance our data infrastructure
Experience:
- Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, etc.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Solid understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks
- Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
