We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive community for our residents and are seeking a dedicated Leasing Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.
Job Summary: As a Leasing Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our leasing operations and providing exceptional service to our prospective and current residents. You will be the first point of contact for Spanish-speaking residents and prospects, ensuring effective communication and a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer the Spanish Phone Line: Provide courteous and professional assistance to Spanish-speaking callers.
- Resident Interaction: Engage with prospective residents via phone, text, or email to provide information about our properties and the living experience in our communities.
- Value Communication: Effectively communicate the value and benefits of living in our communities, addressing inquiries and highlighting key features.
- Lease Agreements: Facilitate the leasing process by securing lease agreements with prospective residents.
- Screening Process: Initiate and manage the process to screen prospective residents, ensuring compliance with our criteria.
- Lease Renewals: Communicate lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals with current residents.
- Tenant Communication: Act as a liaison between the property management team and tenants, addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintenance Requests: Create and track maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of maintenance issues.
- Notice Preparation: Prepare and distribute notices in Spanish, ensuring clear and accurate communication with residents.
- Marketing and Events: Assist with property marketing activities and support the coordination of resident events.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience in a leasing, property management, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (experience with Yardi or similar systems is a plus).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
