Seeking positive PCA's for two young women w/ special needs. Great for PT/OT/Nursing students and Graduate Students!
“J” is a positive, funny, creative 28-year-old Lindenwood University grad who works from home. She has Cerebral Palsy & epilepsy, uses a power wheelchair, and needs assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, basic housekeeping, and community transportation in her accessible vehicle. “J” currently requires a dead-lift transfer to toilet and shower chair but is in the process of acquiring a hydraulic lift.
“A” is a charismatic, energetic, and active 26-year old who has Down syndrome. “A” engages in many social and recreational activities, and primarily requires transportation and moderate supervisorial assistance.
Caregiver must:
*Be able to safely perform a single-person, dead-lift transfer, this will change with lift.
*Pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record & current license.
*Be a high school graduate.
*Have reliable transportation.
*Have basic cooking ability and knowledge of food safety practices.
*Be comfortable with one sweet cat.
Position Details:
*Location: Chesterfield MO
*Pay $26/HR (UHHC & PPL Hours split, will explain)
Hours Needed:
Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 10:30 PM OR 5:00 PM-10:30 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM - 10:30 PM OR 5:00 PM-10:30 PM
Sunday: 3:00PM - 10:30 PM
Occasional overnights are needed but not mandatory. Shift start times can be adjusted.
Paid training hours available in July
Start Date: August 10th 2024 possible to start earlier

Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
