As an integral part of the Plant Development Team, you will work closely with engineering, facilities and business development to develop/shepherd projects through definition and execution phases while reporting to the Project Director. You will make an impact by managing internal and external teams in the design, procurement, and construction of process plants while utilizing electrolyzers and other unit operations to convert CO2 into myriad value-add products.
You will maintain responsibility for the overall delivery of projects as defined by the scope, schedule and budget agreed upon by stakeholders. You will ensure efficient performance on the project by focusing on communication, project planning, scheduling, change management, project controls, progress measurement, and economic evaluation. We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in the management of design/construction projects in the oil and gas or chemicals industries, who is excited about Twelve’s mission.
Execute projects safely, within budget and on schedule in accordance with Twelve’s principles and best practices.
Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary internal and external technician teams to ensure that design, permitting, construction, commissioning and startup activities are completed on schedule and on budget.
Own all technical and execution details for the project; collaborate with internal and external technical teams, subject matter experts; resolve design, procurement, and construction issues. Coordinate appropriate discipline design reviews to ensure technical quality and ensure feedback from Operations organization.
Establish project alignment with organizational needs; prepare project charter and other key project plan documentation.
Define and manage the high-level project risks, assumptions, and constraints.
Maintain stakeholder alignment through regular updates on cost, schedule, progress and risks throughout the lifecycle.
Define scopes of work for EPC companies and specialty consultants, and long lead
equipment vendors. Lead procurement activities with support of internal teams: produce
RFQ (request for proposal) packages, bid lists, bid tabs, and award recommendations.
Support the development and negotiations of contracts. Onboard resources to maintain project objectives. Interface with and manage relationships with these companies during project execution. Administer project’s contracts - reviewing contractor performance for compliance, evaluating change requests, and taking proactive action to rectify any issues.
Define and implement project quality management plans; implement change management per guidelines.
Manage project decision register on cost, schedule, safety, and quality; define and manage all project interfaces.
Define and develop systems completion plans (including mechanical completion, commissioning, and startup) in conjunction with EPCs and Operations.
Capture and share lessons learned across the organization.
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business, or a relevant field.
You have 5-10 years of experience working as an Execution Manager or Project
Manager in the oil and gas or chemicals industry on projects with budgets over $30MM.
You have experience managing EPC’s and equipment suppliers through the project
lifecycle.
You have a high degree of experience and understanding of industrial construction
methodologies.
You have strong technical communication skills and the ability to interface with multiple
teams including external, business, and technical stakeholders.
You have exceptional time management and organizational skills.
You are able to work in both office and construction environments and willing to travel to
plant sites depending on project status.

A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $184,000 - $230,000
Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidate's diverse sets of skill levels.
