Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Global Accounting and Tax to join our dynamic team! A successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in accounting and tax matters, with a strong background in international finance. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing tax planning strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
What You’ll Do:

Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and tax functions, including financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, tax planning and compliance, and internal controls.

Actively engage in identifying areas for improvement and optimization within the finance and accounting functions, and lead efforts to enhance processes, systems, and workflows to support the company's rapid growth and evolving needs.

Provide strategic guidance and leadership on complex accounting and tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tax planning strategies and minimize the company's effective tax rate while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Lead initiatives to build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Mentor and coach team members to help them achieve their full potential and cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence.

What Makes a Great Candidate:

Master’s degree in Accounting
-
CPA certification required
-
12+ years of progressive experience in accounting and tax roles, with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity

Prior experience working on international statutory audits and tax filings required

Prior hedge accounting experience desired

Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, international accounting standards, and tax laws/regulations, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex financial and tax matters

Demonstrated experience in managing cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and international tax planning strategies

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
