Job Summary:
Responsible for recruiting patients over the phone as well as assisting with recruitment programs to increase referrals of participants for the various clinical research trials.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a professional relationship with potential study participants.
- Reviewing the database for potential participants based on inclusion/exclusion
- Calling potential participants to discuss potential trials
- Completing a prescreening questionnaire
- Sending consent forms to be reviewed by appropriate patients
- Obtaining and reviewing medical records of potential participants
- Tracking the status of all potential participants
- Communicating with coordinators and providers about the status of potential participants
- Working with the community outreach specialist to communicate with potential participants that have been identified and have expressed interest
- Schedule screening appointments in Clinical Conductor.
- Make reminder phone calls as needed.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all inclusive
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Science background preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
- Organized
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Must have the ability to perform detail-oriented work and follow up on assignments.
- Must have keyboarding and basic computer experience.
- Must reflect the professional image of the company, upholding the company vision in actions, demeanor, and appearance.
Compensation: $19.60-$23.70 per hour
