What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
- Leads, mentors, coaches and develops Warehouse colleagues in the following activities: receiving, unloading and storing incoming materials including tools, parts and equipment. This includes matching contents to packing list and assigning to job shelf. Visually inspects cartons and packages and contents for damage from handling and transit. Locates and places packing slips in accordance with established procedures.
- Handles a wide variety of UPS, Fed Ex and other freight carrier deliveries and schedules pick-ups as needed. Packs and ships product to vendors, customers, and sub-contractors. This includes creating labels and shipping to customers or vendors as needed. Assignments are broad in nature and require a high level of proficiency.
- Handles and processes returns including all Return Materials Authorizations (RMA’s); this includes returning and shipping RMA’s as needed. Tracks all RMA’s and following up to ensure that the credits hit the proper accounts. Leads the implementation of new working processes.
- Performs monthly cycle counts, annual inventory counts and reconciliation. Responsible for inventory control.
- May place orders for installation and service projects, may create and enter all relevant Purchase Orders (PO’s) into Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system (Spectrum). May work with other departments to resolve receiving challenges. Stays abreast of PO status and resolves issues; this includes handling the more complex and complicated situations.
- Ensures that accurate quantities of warehouse materials are available. Pulls and stages orders for installers, technicians, project managers, subcontractors, etc. as requested. Delivers materials and/or documents to customer job sites regularly throughout the week. Also responsible for delivering materials in-house as needed.
- Keeps warehouse area clean, organized and safe; sweeps, breaks down boxes, restocks paper products, empties garbage, etc.
- May coordinate building maintenance with building management, vendors, sub-contractors and in-house colleagues.
- May handle vehicle-related issues including repairs, maintenance and service.
- May create Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) documentation or manuals. May facilitate or coordinate document destruction per company policy.
- Using technical knowledge, skills and experience, mentors and trains less experienced staff. Provides performance feedback to management regarding other Warehouse colleagues.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:
Education: High School/GED or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years warehouse experience
