Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse

In the role as an RN Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will assess, treat an acute adolescent unit comprised of ages 5 through 17 with a wide range of acute psychiatric illnesses including bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, mood disorders, ADHD and substance abuse.
As the Behavioral Health Adolescent / Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide medical and therapeutic care to ages 5-17 for a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses in a safe, non-threatening environment. As a member of this unit, you will serve as part of the behavioral health treatment team responsible for comprehensive and appropriate care based on growth and development for the individual patient.
Qualifications and Requirements for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse:
- Active KY RN license, Temporary Work Permit, Provisional license or Compact State License in good standing.
- ADN (BSN within 5 years of hire)
- BLS valid for 6 months after employment
