Project Coordinator

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join Clearspan’s Implementations department, to work with customers to manage the installation and turn up of new VoIP phone systems or to upgrade existing systems. This position will be responsible for managing project scope, budgeted hours, schedule, and change requests to meet the customer’s requirements.
Job Responsibilities

Conduct order review meetings with customers to review equipment ordered and schedule.

Conduct weekly status calls with the customers and maintain meeting minutes, punch lists, action items.

Schedule resources for database provisioning, equipment installation and cutover activities.

Host and manage installation and cutover calls – sometimes outside normal business hours.

Work with sales for project handoff and to process any project change requests.

Provide revenue forecasts and status reports to upper management.

Coordinate and track equipment shipments.

Manage and escalate customer trouble tickets during installation phase of project.

Transition customer to post cutover help desk support.

General Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent field from an accredited college or Technical School.

May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience in addition to minimum experience requirement.

Familiarity with project management principles and terminology.

Experience with Salesforce a plus.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products with a heavy emphasis on Excel.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Strong time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.

Ability to lead and facilitate group meetings, conference calls, etc.

Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to pursue PMI – Project Management Professional certification.

Project Manager – in addition to the qualifications above, a Project Manager should have independently managed a project for a large customer. They should have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel. The PM should have attained PM certification (preferably PMI PMP certification).
