Who We Are
Leah’s Pantry is a California-based nonprofit with a nationwide footprint in the area of trauma-informed nutrition. We envision communities where everyone can cultivate a healthy relationship with food and their bodies. We build and implement community nutrition and food security programs that align with trauma-informed, resilience-focused principles. Our extensive training program works with professionals across settings and sectors to implement a variety of nutrition and food security programs and curricula. We also promote trauma-informed nutrition principles and policies at the county, state, and national levels via collaboratives, working groups, and conferences. Additionally, we hold the Statewide Training contract for California’s SNAP-Ed program (CalFresh Healthy Living), which provides training, technical assistance, and capacity building for state and local implementing agencies and their staff.
