US Aviation Academy is hiring licensed A&P Aircraft Mechanics for our Denton, Texas, location.
As a major function of an international flight training academy, our A&P aircraft mechanics maintain a large fleet of over 100 fixed-wing aircraft including Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper Senecas and Seminoles. Job functions include 50/100 hour inspections, Annual Inspections (for IAs) and squawk repairs. A successful Aircraft Mechanic candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- A&P Certificate
- Eligible for employment in the U.S.
- Tools required
- Be able to read, write, and understand the English language
- Be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push-pull, walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching
- Available to work four, 10 hour shifts, Friday-Monday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,800.00 - $83,200.00 per year
