We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the front desk team, ensuring productivity, and exceptional customer service. The Team Leader position is part of our leadership team and is a stepping stone to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager positions. This position requires nights, weekends and an occasional holiday (we are closed on the BIG ones). This is a tipped position.
Expected schedule: Tuesday through Friday 4pm to 9pm and a 5 to 6 hour shift on Saturday. More hours may be available to cover co-worker's PTO.
Responsibilities:
-As a front desk subject matter expert and leader, provide guidance and support to team members, leading and motivating them to achieve performance goals.
-Perform all front desk job duties including but not limited to issuing lanes for both open and league bowling, cashing out customers, taking food and beverage orders for both in-house customers and carry-out orders, answering the phone, taking lane reservations and birthday party reservations and basic janitorial responsibilities such as bussing tables, wiping tables, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Provide effective onboarding and training of new employees.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive work environment and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer-facing, service-driven position. Preference for those with bowling alley experience.
- Previous training and onboarding experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management skills and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years old and be able to obtain a Basset License
- Must be willing to obtain Food Handler's License within the first 30 days of employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
