Position Summary:
The Office Manager will be responsible to the Executive Director to manage operations in concert with the Executive Director for the effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out Hospice Services’ purpose. This position may have supervisory responsibilities and need to have former medical office experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible to assist the Executive Director in the planning, coordination and management of the business and financial affairs and related operational activities including grant application assistance and coordination of special projects, in accordance with Hospice Services policies and procedures
· Responsible for technology support including network communications, and management of information services, including but not limited to troubleshooting with staff and managing system access
· Responsible for evaluating the overall operations of information technology functions and recommend enhancements
· Responsible to direct and manage computing and information technology plans, policies, programs, data processing, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
· Support and Collaborate with Teleios Collaborative Network on functions involving: payroll, financial recording, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and insurance activities
· Support and Collaborate with the Executive Director and Nursing Director on staffing/human resource matters, involving Teleios Collaborative Network coaches as needed.
· Responsible for assuring compliance with Hospice Services employment policies and state and federal guidelines including payroll, insurance, benefits, reporting, insurance, etc.
· Responsible as HIPAA Privacy Officer
· Share responsibility for general office duties as necessary including but not limited to answering phones, scanning, filing, assisting visitors, etc.
· Responsible to complete other duties as assigned
