1. Job Summary
- Responsible for the overall operation of the payroll process and functions related to successful completion and administration of the payroll. Also responsible for the administration of employee benefits, provide expertise and insight on employee benefits. Administer and coordinate daily operations of employee benefit programs.
2. Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis
- Process final paychecks and manages the termination process
- Must be able to pull reports and work closely with Finance
- Recommends process improvements and efficiencies to streamline payroll processing
- Maintains payroll reports in accordance with all state and federal requirements
- Input changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage and garnishments for each employee to update master payroll records
- Ensure vacation data is correct in systems
- Reconciles employee’s timekeeping and maintain payroll records
- Ability to process and manipulate large spreadsheets of data, including exporting and importing data from payroll system and putting them into reports other departments can utilize
- Provides customer service to employees (internal customers) with any payroll and benefit related matters
- Executes benefit invoice reconciliations
- Act as a liaison between Company and benefit broker, Cobra administrator
- Maintains and reviews all timekeeping systems
- Manages open enrollment
- Evaluates employee benefit policies and offerings and assess whether they are current, competitive, and legal
- Oversees the distribution of pay and benefits information to the organization’s employees; answer questions as needed.
- Ensures that benefit plans comply with federal and state regulations
- Administers Leave of Absences as needed
- Review and assign status updates for active and closed LOAs
- Respond to requests from state agencies regarding state paid disability and leave programs
- Assist the Sr. HR Manager with projects and day-to-day tasks, as needed
- Create custom reports upon Management request

5. Qualifications
- 5+ Years Payroll Experience
- 5+ Years of Benefit experience Required
- Experience working with ADP Required
- Experience processing payroll in multi-state
- Must be detail-oriented
- Knowledge of applicable Federal and State HR/Payroll Laws (FMLA, FLSA, e.g.) and IRS regulations that impact payroll

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
