Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Customer Service Representative. See below list of full job description:
- Answer inbound sales calls and conduct outbound follow-up calls as needed
- Actively listen to identify customer questions and needs
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
- Establish and or enhance customer relationships with our agency through informed responses regarding our product and service, policy status, and great customer service
- Have the flexibility to rapidly adapt to new processes
- Maintain all current licensing, agency, and carrier compliance requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Document customer interaction and update information as needed on the database
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries
- Handle escalated customer complaints with empathy and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Must have a valid property & casualty insurance license in the state of Texas
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with diverse customers (English/Spanish)
- Must have experience in customer support in the insurance industry
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be comfortable with technology and have basic computer skills
- Familiarity with insurance products and services is a plus
- Customer Service Representatives, Customer Support, and Customer Service skills
- Ability to create a positive customer experience
- Ability to handle difficult customers and resolve complaints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Genuine interest in being of service to others in order to market products and services based on customer needs
- Appropriate sense of empathy to handle varying customer interactions.
- Detailed oriented balanced with a big picture understanding
- Proactive in problem solving
