Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Lexington KY/Position is in-office
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Keeps pace with ever-changing local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations ensuring policies and/or practices are compliant.
- Partners with leadership to ensure our restaurants are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Is the direct line of communication for employee complaints seeking resolutions that mitigate company risk and align to company policies.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Oversees and manages company FMLA / leave of absence process.
- Manages and maintains employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Champions an inclusive, respectful, and safe workplace where employees can thrive and is consistent with BHG values.
- Facilitates the termination process both voluntary and in-voluntary.
- Maintains the comprehensive HRIS system,
- Manages the exit, stay, and culture survey programs providing analysis of data identifying trends and patterns.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations specifically in the food and beverage industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Some travel may be required.
Education and Experience:
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years HRBP experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
