Job Title: Dental Treatment Coordinator
Job Summary: As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating a smooth experience for dental patients by effectively coordinating their treatment plans and ensuring clear communication between patients, dentists, and insurance companies. Your role involves guiding patients through their treatment journey, from initial consultation to post-treatment follow-up, while also handling administrative tasks to support the dental office operations.
Responsibilities:
Patient Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for consultations, treatments, and follow-ups based on patients' needs and availability.
- Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure patients understand the financial aspects of their treatment plans, including insurance coverage, copayments, and financing options.
Communication and Documentation:
- Maintain clear and accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and financial transactions in the office management system.
- Communicate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and office operations.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and insurance verification processes.
- Handle billing and claims submissions, following up with insurance companies as needed to resolve issues and ensure timely payments.
- Manage office supplies and inventory related to patient care and administrative functions.
Patient Education and Support:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Provide compassionate support to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout their dental visits.
Ibn Sina Foundation is looking for a talented Dental Treatment Coordinators to join our organization in Houston, Texas. The incumbent will be helping patients to gain a greater understanding of their treatment and their dental health plans. Will help them to manage the financial commitments associated with their care, along with any future appointments they may need to manage their dental care and treatment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting, preferably in a coordinator or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in dental office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
