We are seeking a skilled CNC Millwork Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components for commercial millwork furniture. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to manufacture components according to specifications.
- Interpret and input V-card program to control machine operations.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
- Select and prepare raw materials for machining processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the production leader to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production quantities, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Millwork Operator or in a similar role within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in CNC operation or machining preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and accurate work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
