Academy Bus is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator at our corporate headquarters in Hoboken, NJ. In this role, you will support the Recruiting/HRIS Manager and have the opportunity to learn about strategic sourcing, onboarding and hiring processes in the passenger transportation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain applicant tracking information in the ATS and Excel database with information regarding pre-employment processes, approvals, and hiring status.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Safety, Compliance, Operations hiring managers and assistants to ensure hiring process stays on track and applicants meet all pre-employment requirements.
- Assist with recruiting and hiring process for corporate and regional office positions which may include: Screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting basic phone screens
- Processing background checks
- New hire onboarding process
- Monitor Careers email box
- Handle incoming phone calls from applicants
- Prepare weekly reports for executive meetings
- Maintain files and documents in SharePoint and HRIS
- Assist with other human resources tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Must be able to demonstrate basic Excel skills (i.e. navigating, formatting, and basic formulas)
- Familiar with PDF editing (Editing, organizing pages, form fill)
The following experience is ideal but not required:
- Experience with any ATS
- Experience with any online recruiting app
- Experience scheduling interviews
- Experience creating Excel Pivot Tables
