We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with a strong emphasis on structural design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precast design and demonstrate expertise in engineering precast concrete structures. This role involves designing, analyzing, and the ability to work collaboratively with our production and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Excellence and Innovation:

Developing and implementing innovative design solutions that enhance the performance and efficiency of precast structures.

Design and analyze precast concrete structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for designers and manufacturing.

Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure the safety, functionality, and durability of designs.

Develop and optimize concrete mix designs to meet specific project requirements and improve product performance.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in precast concrete technology by attending at least two industry conferences or workshops per year and implement best practices in design and manufacturing.
Project Delivery:

Collaborate with project managers, designers, estimators, and other engineers to integrate precast designs into overall project plans.

Provide technical guidance and support during the manufacturing process to ensure design integrity and quality.

Review and approve shop drawings, design calculations, and other technical documents.

Participate in project meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations on precast design.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., ACI, PCI).
Continuous Improvement and Professional Development:

Actively mentor junior engineers and guide them in precast design techniques and methodologies.

Achieve and maintain professional certifications (e.g., PE license) to enhance credibility and expertise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, emphasis in structural engineering preferred.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design with a focus on precast concrete.

Proficiency in Microsoft Suit

Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).

Strong understanding of precast concrete manufacturing processes and industry standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software is a plus.

Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, PCI).
