Our Customer Service Representative must SELL our Service and Rental Departments as one of the best in the industry and recognize that he/she is a prominent face of our entire organization. We’re looking for a team player that can work independently as well. This position is essentially a vital extension of the Service Manager & Rental Fleet in its daily operations. This person will be an integral part of growing our business and differentiating ourselves from the competition.
Requirements for this Position:
- Communicate effectively with customers daily
- Includes Service Writing, Conveying Estimates, Acquiring Work Order Approval, Providing Progress Reports & Work Completion Notices, Collecting Payment, Following Up after the Service, and Invoicing.
- Problem Solve & Respond to Inquiries – The ability to find answers independently by gathering information and formulating an appropriate response is paramount in our business
- Greet customers upon arrival with a positive attitude and convey confidence that their service issues will be resolved quickly and right the first time
- Assist the Service Manager in scheduling, delegating, and dispatching work orders and/or service calls
- Invoice Service & Rentals
- Submit Factory Warranty Claims
- Serve as a Liaison to our Parts & Sales Departments
- Help Coordinate Make-Ready equipment preps for sold equipment with our Sales Team
- Help Coordinate Logistics (Pick Up & Delivery) for Service Work & Rental Fleet
- Sell Preventative Maintenance Agreements & Extended Warranties
- Assist in the Management & Maintenance of a Multi-Million Dollar Rental Fleet
- Quote, Reserve & Schedule, Collect Payment, and Properly Keep Up Equipment

- Mechanical / Technical Background – especially in Construction Equipment & the Utility Industry is preferred
- Education - High School / Equivalent and above
- Average Math & Writing Skills
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office & Outlook
- CDK experience is desirable, but not mandatory
- Professional & Courteous communication via in-person, phone calls, email, and/or text
- Spanish Speaking is desirable, but not mandatory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.32 - $25.00 per hour
