Job Summary
Join the team that makes vacation your occupation as a Vacation Club Ambassador. In this fun and exciting career, you will work at popular local attractions like malls and events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences while building relationships with your team and the public as a Vacation Ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, the largest vacation ownership company. In this sales-based role, you will drive your own success as you engage in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and share information about the vacation club experience that could change their lives!
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Represent Wyndham Destinations as a positive and professional ambassador.
- Greet, invite, and incentivize prospective customers to schedule a sales presentation.
- Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
- Schedule sales presentation appointments and collect required deposits.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
- Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- 1-2+ Sales experience is preferred.
- Positive, upbeat, and motivated individual.
- Ability to handle rejection and common objections.
- Ability to initiate and engage in conversation with the public.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
- General computer and smart device skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
