Responsibilities
· Maintain professional boundaries and behavior, as specified by their professional Code of Ethics/Conduct, during interactions with all staff and client.
· Develop and maintain a safety plan for individuals as applicable.
· Perform crisis interventions to help ensure the safety of the patients and others. Provide crisis counseling and assist with referral to higher level of care when necessary
· Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based practice.
· Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
· Continually assess treatment progress and adjust interventions whenever necessary.
· Make recommendations for continued treatment through JMK or referral based on clinical impressions.
· Collaborate with JMK clinical team, present challenging cases for consult.
· Complete and submit all documentation required by state and insurance providers.
Requirements
· Minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or other human service field
· Counselors must be licensed by a State Board to provide counseling (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCMH, PsyD or similar credentials
· At least one year providing psychotherapy. Your resume must reflect both the population you serve as well as your specialties.
· Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Experience preferred; training available.
· Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
· Ability to Navigate Microsoft 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
· Maintain professional liability insurance
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
