Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled hands-on CNC Operator to join our team on the 1st shift (8-5pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts and products for our clients. The CNC Operator will be required to perform various tasks such as programming, operating, and maintaining the machines.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform cutting, drilling, milling and laser operations.

Interpret job tickets, engineering drawings, shop drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of the finished part, as well as the sequence of operations.

Develop CNC programs and adjust settings to control the speed and feed of the machines.

Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure that they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with CNC machines and make necessary adjustments and repairs.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep them in good working order.

Collaborate with production team members to ensure that production schedules are met.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a CNC operator or similar role.

Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.

Knowledge of speeds and feeds for various materials

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
