The essential job responsibilities of the Community Relations Coordinator 1 is to apply entry-level business knowledge and techniques to assist in developing and implementing various programs to better serve Division customers; coordinate departmental work with other departments, social/community and governmental agencies, customers and other external entities in order to achieve overall departmental objectives.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Community Relations Coordinator 1 role, you must:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Communication, or Journalism.
- Zero to two years of professional level experience in a social/human services related field.
- Have knowledge of governmental low-income programs preferred
- Have proficient skills in applicable computer software applications
- Have an occupationally significant combination of job knowledge; excellent verbal/written communications skills; proven analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities; leadership; customer relations and resource management skills; integrity; ability to apply Division
customer service policies and procedures; organizational ability to plan, formulate and execute policies and programs; ability to work with a diverse population; ability to utilize investigative, analytical, interview, evaluation and research techniques in tactfully acquiring/giving information; ability to create a good impression in answering inquiries; mathematical ability; flexibility to adjust to changing conditions; and a
preference for public contact work.
- Have a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
Physical Working Conditions: Works inside majority of time. Subject to hazards associated with conducting field interviews, investigations, observations and presentations.
