We are seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who demonstrates a genuine care for children and passion for improving lives. At Solaris Pediatric Therapy, we treat children from the ages of birth to 18 years with sensory processing disorder, pervasive developmental disorders (including: Autism & Asperger’s), ADD/ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, physical disabilities, congenital disorders and learning disabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess and diagnose communication and speech disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language challenges.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress reports.
- Supervision and training of SLP-A and/or graduate students.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Texas licensure and ASHA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Intern/CFY acceptable).
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in a clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of feeding disorders/dysphagia preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
3. Working knowledge and use of assessment tools used in the evaluation of infants, children, and adolescents.
4. Physical ability to lift and transfer children (minimum of 25 lbs.)
7. Have current CPR certification or be able to obtain within 3 months.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
