We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing electronic time collection, payroll processing, employment tax reporting, and payroll systems maintenance. Your duties will also include managing new hire documentation in compliance with government regulations and preparing reports for state and federal agencies.

Responsibilities:
Manage daily payroll operations for multi-state payrolls, focusing on restaurant and hourly tip wage environments.
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure efficient processes and internal controls.
Ensure accurate computation and recording of time, earnings, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other payroll-related items.
Stay updated on current legislation and communicate changes to third-party vendors for compliance.
Identify and implement best practices for improved efficiency and cost savings.
Communicate and update the organization on payroll policies and processes.
Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts.
Ensure compliance with government-required documentation.
Train and educate users on compliance and process improvement.
Utilize advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and city payroll taxes and labor laws, especially those applicable to restaurant and hourly tip wage environments.
Proficiency in payroll processing systems and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with compliance and payroll system management.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 to 10 years of payroll experience, particularly in a multi-state environment with hourly and tip wage considerations.

Pay: $99,405.76 - $125,402.63 per year
